Melag MELAdem 53 for MELAtherm, Careclave & Vacuclave 551 The MELAdem 53 uses a proven ion exchange process to produce high-quality demineralised water for cleaning, disinfection, and sterilisation. It is designed to meet high-volume demands, making it ideal for supplying the Cliniclave, MELAtherm, and multiple steam sterilisers. The system includes two durable cartridges filled with regenerable resin. One cartridge is connected to the steriliser or MELAtherm, while the other remains on standby. Once the active cartridge is depleted, it is sent for regeneration and swapped with the spare. The MELAdem 53 is the standard solution for practices requiring large volumes of demineralised water. With typical tap water hardness, a single cartridge yields approximately 2,800 litres of purified water. Its high performance allows multiple steam sterilisers to be connected alongside the MELAtherm.
